Redefining Excellence in Farming...

Forth Worth Farm, a family-owned business established in 2007, is driven by a passion for animals and excellence. We operate an integrated farm specializing in poultry, aquaculture, vegetable and fruit farming, processing, packaging, and sales. Our 80-acre farmland in Awowo Village, Ogun State, houses the poultry, hatchery, feed mill, and vegetation units, while our Agege location hosts the slaughtering plant, aquaculture unit, sales outlet, and main office.

With a team of 120 staff, over half residing on-site, we are leaders in greenhouse farming in Nigeria, committed to providing organic, farm-fresh produce at affordable prices. Our products include bell peppers, tomatoes, habaneros, chili, herbs, and both local and exotic vegetables like Efo Shoko, lettuce, and sweet corn. Recently, we expanded into cash crops such as maize, avocado, and groundnuts.

Recognized for excellence, we won Agricultural Firm of the Year (2017) from the Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and multiple awards in 2018, including Eloy Agricultural Company of the Year.

HATCHERY

Our poultry hatchery is fully automated with capacity to produce over 380,000 quality day old chicks per month.  We produce broilers, pullets and cockerels. The pullet and Broiler units are totally reliant on this unit for supply of Chicks. Spare production is also sold externally.

BROILER UNIT

This unit focuses on raising high-quality commercial broilers under strict safety standards. With a capacity of 60,000 birds, we ensure quality by sourcing day-old chicks from our own hatchery, supplied by our parent stock section. This allows full control over product quality. Broilers reach slaughter weight in 4–7 weeks, depending on consumer preference, and are processed under international meat standards. Our birds are housed in open-sided coops at Awowo Farm Settlement to maintain a natural environment.

PULLETS/BROODING

We raise high-quality broilers under strict safety standards, with a 60,000-bird capacity. Sourcing chicks from our hatchery ensures full quality control. Broilers reach slaughter weight in 4–7 weeks and are processed per international standards. Housed in open-sided coops at Awowo Farm Settlement, they enjoy a natural environment.

FEEDMILL UNIT

Our feed mill produces balanced rations to ensure optimal livestock growth, health, and productivity. With an 8 metric ton/hour capacity, we produce over 200 tons monthly for both internal use and commercial supply. Prioritizing health, we use herbs and spices instead of antibiotics, preventing diseases and keeping our poultry and fish free from chemical residues, ensuring safe consumption.

LAYERS

Forthworth Farms' layers unit produces high-quality, affordable table eggs in a 100,000-capacity facility with 10 modern, open-sided poultry pens. Our birds come from our Parent Stock, are fed premium, herb-based feed from our own mill, and are raised without antibiotics, ensuring safe and natural eggs for consumers at competitive prices. Strict biosecurity measures are upheld at every stage.

PARENT STOCK UNIT

The parent stock unit supports backward integration, supplying fertile eggs for our livestock operations. With a 22,000-bird capacity, it includes broiler breeders (heavy breed) and pullet/cockerels (light breed). This capital-intensive unit features automated feeding and drinking systems, ensuring efficiency. All eggs are transferred to our hatchery.

GREEN HOUSE AND VEGETATION UNIT

In 2014, we expanded into greenhouse farming, starting with five and growing to 20 by 2017. We produce tomatoes, onions, peppers, and habaneros using poultry waste as natural fertilizer to minimize chemicals. Our vegetables are packaged and supplied to Lagos supermarkets and individuals. As one of the few farms in Nigeria integrating greenhouse and open-field farming with poultry rearing and processing.

AQUACULTURE

Our aquaculture unit, located in Agege, Lagos, operates a full catfish value chain from breeding to processing and sales. With a 140,000-catfish capacity, it is supported by our in-house hatchery and feed mill. Our hatchery produces over 200,000 fingerlings monthly, including pure clarias, heterobranchus, and hybrid catfish. We supply over 20 tonnes of live catfish monthly for smoking and third-party markets. Our modern smoking kiln meets export standards, ensuring high-quality processed fish.

THE PROCESSING PLANT

To ensure top-quality products, we established a chicken processing plant with a capacity of 2,500–5,000 birds per session. We also lease the facility to other businesses, providing a clean and hygienic environment for poultry processing.
